In this position, you will be responsible for Key account management of Tier 1/2 OEM's in the TOLA territory with the goal of rapid growth in Design Wins, Bookings and Revenue, with particular focus on the Oil & Gas vertical. We seek a strong relationship builder with organization skills to understand the customer's business model, strategy, requirements, and match those to Kontron capabilities and Business Unit (BU) objectives. The position requires the ability to successfully interface and navigate within multi-divisional global companies.
• Overall sales management of assigned territory. • Maintain, support and grow existing customers. • Complete reporting of activity and sales projections through Salesforce.com. This includes weekly activity reports, monthly new business funnel reviews, sales call history and territory forecasting. • Sell complete products solutions (including services), in addition to basic board building blocks, to multiple levels within an organization, from Purchase, to Engineering, to Product Line Management and ultimately to C Level officers. • Primary field sales effort for territory; build relationships with OEM's, Tier 1 / Tier 2 customers, strategic suppliers, national distributors and regional manufacturers’ representatives.
• Prior experience, knowledge, contacts and success within the Oil & Gas vertical is required. • Strong technical background with an engineering degree or equivalent 10+ years’ experience selling into high tech / embedded markets. • Ability to effectively present, sell and negotiate with, top "C" level management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. • Prior experience selling into, and deep knowledge of, "embedded computer market" is highly desirable; which can include, but not limited to, the following vertical segments: Communications; Avionics, Transportation/Rail, Defense; Industrial (Oil & Gas, Medical, Signage, Industrial Automation, Energy, In-Vehicle). • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. • Ability to effectively present, sell and negotiate with, top "C" level management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
