Newly Enhanced Modules Show Continued Advancements of ETX Standard
Kontron, one of the leading global embedded computer technology companies, announces the release of the newly upgraded ETX-MGX and ETX-P3E component SBC modules. The two popular designs now even better equipped to serve the needs of the fast-paced market.
By upgrading the existing ETX module based on the Intel? Pentium? III processor, Kontron will offer the first ETX product able to support a greater than 1 GHz CPU. The design of the low-power ETX-MGX has been revised to support a Geode GX1 processor running at speeds of up to 300MHz. Designers can look forward to the availability of these new ETX component SBC units by the end of the year.
Kontron announces the development of ETX modules with even more highly integrated system-on-chip processors for 2003. Making full use of alliances with leading chipset and CPU manufacturers, Kontron will continue to meet the needs of customers, bringing about advancements in integration, performance and power consumption through the development of future products.
